Mark Jones and Richard Young met at a local networking group and quickly realised that collaboration, rather than competition was key. The joining of forces meant that they could share knowledge and expertise and make sure more clients received the outcomes they deserved.
Mark Jones
Mark specialises in mortgages for the self-employed using CIS statements as payslips and share of net profits rather than salary and dividends. This enables business owners to continue to be tax efficient and still be able to receive the mortgage they require. Mark lives in Bishops Waltham, is married and has a young daughter whom he loves spending time with.
Richard Young
Richard specialises in the more complex mortgages, portfolio landlords, complicated buy to let properties, bridging finance and commercial mortgages alongside later life lending. Richard lives in Petersfield and has a wife a son and a daughter. He enjoys spending time with his family, running and playing golf . He regularly plays golf with his father who was also in financial services.
Sheila Blacklaw
Sheila joined Jones & Young as a self employed adviser. Based in Farnborough she brings a wealth of experience from a number of specialist mortgage brokerages as well as NatWest bank. Sheila is married her children are now grown up but now has grandchildren whom she is always on hand to help. She loves traveling and going on cruises with her husband and family.
